Skiing and Snowboarding are what makes this region "tick". Ski resorts of Thredbo and Perisher Blue offer some of the best ski runs in Australia.
Snowy Mountains is fast becoming an exciting year round holiday destination; fishing, mountain bike riding, bushwalking & waterskiing are all popular activities once the snow has melted.
Endless bushwalking and mountain bike trails can be found in this area including a walking track to the summit of Mt Kosciuszko and the down hill mountain bike runs of Thredbo.

The crystal clear water flowing down the rivers and streams of the region are regarded as having some of the most challenging trout fishing in the country. As do Lakes Jindabyne & Eucumbene.
Lake Jindabyne is a buzz in summer. Waterskiing and wakeboarding, sailing and canoeing are just some of the water sports available on the lake.
Alpine Habitats is centrally located; 15 min drive to Thredbo, 5 min to the Ski Tube (Perisher) and 10 min drive to Lake Jindabyne.
